The EU-funded regional programme for the environment, known as SMAP III, has launched a new weekly press review service.
The programme monitors sites across the Mediterranean region, the European Union and international organisations for environment news which it then uploads on a special section on its website: http://www.smap.eu/EN/index.php?page=review.html
SMAP’s website is an invaluable source for environmental info in three languages: Arabic, English and French.
The SMAP Regional Programme was set up with the objectives of reversing the trend of environmental degradation and contributing to the sustainable development of the Mediterranean region.
SMAP also features as the latest EuroMed Info Centre Project Highlight.
