As if producing over 20 broadcast and print pieces for the top Maghrebi and Lebanese media during this week's session on immigration and integration in the Netherlands wasn't enough, our team have gone one step further.
Following hot on the heals of November's Caucasus team, two of whom also filed live reports from Brussels back to Tbilisi on recent EU peace moves in the region, our Lebanese participants managed to scoop an interview inside the new Harriri tribunal soon to open in the Hague.
Working late into the night, they managed to get both their integration features and analysis pieces ready to go, alongside delivering a stunning series of pieces on what's new from the Hague.
Marie Khoury filed for the Lebanese national news agency, whilst Future TV and NTV both filed broadcast reports, edited with the help of the ENJN, via sat link to Beirut this morning.
Manal Chaaya managed to get her interview (http://www.annahar.com/content.php?priority=1&table=main&type=main&day=Fri) with the Harirri tribunal on today's front page of An Nahar. Khalil Harb's excellent piece (http://www.assafir.com/channels.aspx?EditionId=1144&ChannelId=26214)got front page in today's Assafir, one of the leading newspapers in the Middle East.
And thats not all. Today's edition of De Telegraph, Holland's leading newspaper with over 2 million daily readers, ran a 400 word piece on page five, on the ENJN team's work and their thoughts on recent Dutch integration controversies.
Add that to last weeks coverage by TVE in Madrid on the Mid East groups work on Counter Terrorism and Neighbourhood security and the story is simple; we are getting out there.
