Through ENJN, some 40 journalists from across the European Neighbourhood Eastern region attended the Summit launching the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Initiative, on 7 May 2009. The European Neighborhood Journalism Network organized a two-day programme for senior editors and correspondents of the ENJN network, providing them with access to EU leaders and decision makers. Journalists came from Armenia, Azerbaidjan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
